Job Duties:

Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems including chassis, frame, cab, body, engine and drive train, air brakes, steering, and fuel, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems
Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems including structural, brake and electrical systems.
Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
Perform routine maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks.
Test vehicles after repairs to ensure proper functioning.
Advise customers on repair needs and maintenance schedules.
Maintain and clean tools and work areas.
Keep records of work performed and parts used.
