Overview

P. Gupta Accounting Services Inc located at Unit-110A 12830 80 Avenue, Surrey is an accounting firm having a large base of clients. We are hiring Financial Auditor to examine bookkeeping and other financial reports of multiple accounts for Full -Time and permanent position.

Duties:

  • Verify the accuracy of journal/ledger entries, bank statements, expenditures, and inventory.
  • Analyze the financial records of companies to ensure financial recording accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards, procedures and internal controls
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of a company’s financial procedures and risk management systems to prevent fraud.
  •  Ensure that the person or company’s financial activities and reporting follows accounting standards, procedures and government laws
  • Conduct field audits of businesses to ensure compliance with provisions of the Income Tax Act, Canadian Business Corporations Act or other statutory requirements.
  • Compile findings into detailed audit reports and recommend process improvements to management.

 

Requirements & terms:

  • Education: Completion of bachelor degree in accounting or relevant field is required.
  • Experience: Minimum experience of 1 year or more as bookkeeper/financial auditor is required.
  • Wage: $39.00/hr
  • Language: English
  • Work: 30-40 hours per week
