Newton Dock & Doors Ltd at Unit #101, 19045 54 Avenue, Surrey BC is looking to hire a Supervisor-Door Installers for a full-time and permanent position.
Job duties
Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of commercial door installers and related workers.
Review project drawings, blueprints, and specifications and assign installation tasks to team members.
Ensure the accurate measurement and marking of guidelines for door and frame installations.
Oversee the installation, repair, and servicing of commercial doors, ensuring they are level, secure, and functioning according to specifications and safety standards.
Monitor the use of hand and power tools to ensure safe and efficient cutting, fitting, and installation of door components.
Inspect completed installations to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and building codes.
Coordinate on-site modifications to doors or surrounding structures to achieve proper alignment, seamless fit, and smooth operation.
Train and mentor installers on installation techniques, equipment operation, and workplace safety procedures.
Maintain work progress records and report project updates to management.
Ensure adherence to workplace safety regulations and company policies at all installation sites.
Coordinate with contractors, project managers, and clients regarding installation schedules and project requirements.
Order and monitor the use of materials, equipment, and supplies required for door installation projects.
Experience – Minimum experience of 2 years or more as Door installer is required.
Education- completion of high school is required.
Wage Rate: $ 38.00 per hour
Hours of work: 30-40 hours per week

Work will be at various locations of the lower mainland.
