Overview
KS Elite Floors Ltd. at 2721 Sunnyside St, Abbotsford, BC is hiring a floor covering installer for full-time and permanent position.
Duties:
Meeting with clients and inspecting sites to determine the most appropriate flooring solutions.
Advising clients about foreseeable costs before installation begins
Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
Install hardwood floors, such as strip floors, block floors or plank floors, using glue, staples, nails or other means
Install, repair and replace floorcovering materials including underlayment, carpet, sheet goods.
Clearing the work surface from dust, debris, and obstructions.
Preparing the work surface by applying adhesive, grouting, or other appropriate materials.
Laying wood, carpeting, tiles, concrete, and other types of flooring.
Ensuring that the flooring materials are well-positioned, secure, and clean.
Completing the installation by applying appropriate finishes.
Requirements
Must be able to communicate in English
Minimum education as completion of High school.
Minimum experience of 1 year or more as Floor covering installer is required.
Hours of Work: Minimum work of 30 to 40 hours per week will be given, along with 2 days off per week.
Work location: 2721 Sunnyside St, Abbotsford, BC V2T 1Y5. Work will be at various locations across lower mainland.
Wage: $ 31.00/hr
