The caregiver’s primary responsibility is to provide personal care, companionship, and daily living assistance to an elderly woman with a disability. The position requires a compassionate, patient, and dependable individual who is capable of providing hands-on support with personal care, mobility, and household management while ensuring the client’s safety, comfort, dignity, and well-being.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Provide bedside care and personal care to an elderly client with a disability.
· Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
· Administer medications as directed.
· Assist with mobility-related activities, transfers, walking, positioning, and regular exercise programs as required.
· Assist the client in water activities (e.g., pool therapy or exercise programs).
· Monitor the client’s well-being and provide ongoing companionship and emotional support.
· Collect specimens as directed.
· Maintain the client’s comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.
· Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
· Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
Terms of employment: 30 hours/week at a min, permanent, full-time, mornings, day, evening, with overtime if needed
Wages: $21 per hour

Education required: No degree, certificate or diploma
Work experience required: at least 1 year of caregiving experience is required
Language required to do the work: English
Criminal record check will be required
Physical Requirements: ability to provide hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living; ability to safely assist a client with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and physical support as required; ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physically demanding caregiving duties throughout the workday; ability to respond appropriately to the client’s changing physical and emotional needs.

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Relocation costs (if any) will be covered by employer.
