Responsibilities
Tasks
• Assist with daily personal care routines, including feeding, bathing, and
dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, including engaging in conversation
and recreational activities.
• Engage in activities that promote physical health and social interaction.
• Implement strategies to manage behavioral challenges and prevent escalation.
• Administer medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals
Additional requirements
Looking for a family caregiver for a 15-year-old boy with autism Level 3, minimally verbal.
Experience with Augmentative Assistive Communication Devices and behaviour management is a definite asset.
A large amount of time will be spent on outdoor walks/hikes, during all seasons.
A driver’s license is required.
