Overview
The Construction Helper position involves providing support to construction workers and specialists across various demolition, remodeling, and construction projects. The person hired will be responsible for preparing work areas, transporting materials, removing debris, and assisting with the handling of tools, machinery, and equipment used on job sites. This is a primarily physical role that requires effort, responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Your duties will include:
Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials. Collecting, removing, and clearing debris and waste from construction sites. Assisting with demolition tasks and the preparation of work areas. Feeding, operating, or assisting in the handling of construction machinery and equipment. Using hand and power tools, such as drills, circular saws, pneumatic hammers, and nail guns. Collaborating with other workers on residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects.
Assisting with roofing work and other construction-related activities. Keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe. Adhering to safety regulations and correctly using personal protective equipment (PPE).
