Job Summary
Position Title: Cook (NOC 63200)
Positions Available: 2
Work locations:
• 2215 Marine Dr, West Vancouver, BC, V7V 1K5 (2 positions available)
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Position Type: Permanent, full time
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week
Salary: $17 per hour
Benefits: 4% vacation pay; 10 days paid vacation after one year;
Required Language: English
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Prepare Italian dishes from scratch following the recipe to produce consistent results;
• Ensure that all dishes are prepared and cooked using Italian cooking methods and ingredients to maintain authenticity;
• Comply with standard cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen practices;
• Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment;
• Follow the sanitization standards, making sure your work station stays clean and organized, and follow all of the food handling standards;
• Be proficient in all areas of BOH operation;
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

• Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen workplace preferred
• Related education or certifications an asset
• Food Safe Level 1 or Serving It Right certification or intention to get
