Duties:
∙Work with HR on hiring for all positions within tube park/bike rentals
∙Work with the Accomodation department to fullfill staff housing requirements and bed/roomassignment
∙Work with the Operations department daily to assess lane safety and grooming needs as well as implementing and evaluating procedures to ensure safety and efficiency.
∙Work with Guest Services/marketing to assess pre-bookings in Zaui sales system and determine staffing needs as well as monitoring revenue and expenses to monitor profits, loss and margins.
∙Work with Guest Services throughout the day to help answer questions from guests or resolve complaints and help explain equipment usage policies etc.
∙Work with Guest Services & marketing on pricing and when sold out, advise when extratickets/inventory can be sold or rented.
∙Provide training for all staff on guest service etiquette, safety, and how to respond in emergency situations
∙Ensure all staff have fully completed their training manuals.
∙Conduct daily staff meetings and take minutes for each meeting. This should
include reviewing safety procedures, assigning positions and duties etc.
∙Ensure carpet log book is filled out daily
∙Oversee snow removal on decks, roofs, and walkway for safety of guests
∙Ensure proper setup at the beginning of every shift and pack down at the end of the day includingproper storage of all moving devices.
∙Oversee P3 parking on weekends and busy days
∙Ensure all signage for the permissible boundries are in place daily
∙Test running conditions daily
∙Ensure staff follow Norquay uniform policy at all times, including assigning jackets at thebeginning of the season and returning them at the end of the season
∙Ensure adequate inventory with heavy focus on equipment condition and suitability for use andnegotiate with suppliers when new stock needs ordering.
∙Maintain organisation and cleanliness of storage containers and the staff room
∙Perform periodic reviews with staff and conduct any disciplinary action as needed
∙Create staff schedules and review timesheets bi-weekly to submit to payroll
∙Maintain all relevant paperwork, including logs, employee docs, incident/WCB forms, accidentinvestigations etc.
