Duties:

Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of food and beverage catering service.
Plan the catering services offered by the company and establish procedures to ensure each event is completed efficiently and according to the client’s requirements.
Meet with clients to discuss event details, including menu options, number of guests, service style, venue requirements, dietary restrictions, and budget.
Hire catering staff and arrange training on food handling, customer service, event setup, workplace safety, and company procedures.
Prepare employee schedules and assign duties to kitchen staff, servers, delivery drivers, and event setup personnel based on the size and timing of each event.
Monitor food, beverage, equipment, and supply inventory and arrange purchases to ensure sufficient materials are available for upcoming events.
Review operating expenses, sales, event costs, and revenues and make changes to menus, pricing, staffing, or procedures when necessary.
Respond to client concerns or service issues and take appropriate steps to resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
Maintain records of bookings, client instructions, supplier orders, staff hours, event expenses, payments, and completed catering services.
