Overview
Tiger Auto Glass Ltd at Unit-53 6712, Baker rd, Delta, BC V4E 2V3 is looking to hire an Automotive Glass technician for full-time and permanent position. Tiger Auto Glass Ltd is a mobile unit and work will be at various locations across Lower Mainland.
Duties:
· Inspect damaged windshields and vehicle windows to determine whether they can be repaired or require replacement.
· Remove moldings, wipers, screws, bolts, clips, and other trim components to access damaged glass.
· Clean and prepare glass surfaces and surrounding areas by removing dirt, debris, and old adhesive.
· Repair minor chips and cracks by injecting resin and curing it using heat or ultraviolet light.
· Prime and prepare pinch welds and damaged areas prior to installation.
· Measure, cut, and fit replacement glass to manufacturer specifications.
· Install windshields and other automotive glass using adhesives, clips, moldings, and rubber weather seals.
· Apply chemical treatments and weatherproofing materials to ensure proper sealing and leak prevention.
· Reinstall moldings, wipers, and other components after glass installation or repair.
· Inspect for rust or structural damage that may affect the quality and safety of the installation.
· Travel to customer locations to provide mobile windshield and automotive glass repair and replacement services.
· Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
Experience: 1 year of experience as Automotive Glass Technician is required. Must have Driving license to drive the mobile unit.
Wage rate: $ 33.00 per hour
Hours of work: 30 to 40 hours per week
