Title of position: Personal support worker – Ely M.

 

Candidate is to care for an elderly lady.

 

Duties:

Administer bedside and personal care
Administer medications
Assist clients in water (i.e. pool)
Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
Collect specimens
Launder clothing and household linens
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Plan therapeutic diets and menus
Provide companionship
Provide personal care
Shop for food and household supplies
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Cook
Terms of employment: 30 hours/week, permanent, full-time, mornings, day, evening, with overtime if needed

 

Wages: $21.00 per hour

Education required: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate /Completion of high school.

Work experience required: previous caregiving experience of 1 month to less than 7 months

Language required to do the work: English

 

Criminal record check will be required

 

Other conditions: Live in/Live out is considered & is optional (this is NOT a condition of employment); staff accommodation available; optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis (this is NOT a condition of employment)

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Relocation costs (if any) will be covered by employer.
