Responsibilities
Tasks
Specific Job Description
Operate dough preparation equipment and staff various production stations to ensure food safe and
high quality frozen dough products. In particular, perform various aspects of the production operations
as required to prepare frozen bread, buns(rolls), and pizza dough products for shipments to wholesale
and retail customers.
SAFETY – Understand applicable safety procedures and requirements, in particular, safety switches and Lockout Procedure, demonstrate knowledge of WHMIS and Emergency Response Plan
FOOD SAFETY – Understand basic food safety requirements and follow all food safety and food safety related procedures and requirements.
Safely and consistently operate Production Line Equipment used in the preparation of frozen dough products including, but not limited to: Chunker, Divider, Belts, Rounder, Sheeter, and Moulder.
Quality control grooming station – Visually inspect, weigh, and measure products to ensure they meet bread, bun, and dough specification. Knowledge of products, weights, lengths, appearance, and use of call button is required.
Packaging station operation and related equipment – Package and label frozen dough products for our customers. Knowledge of the operator touch screen, metal detector, squid ink date coder, box builder, label making, box taper, pallet jacks, pallet wrapper is required.
Prepare frozen dough products after they are produced for test baking. This includes identification and panning procedures.
Assist with cleaning of frozen dough production equipment and office/production area. Requires knowledge of hygiene and cleaning procedures.
Communicate with supervisors and other staff to ensure the best possible quality and food safe production of frozen dough products.
